1 Hotels sought a redesign of their in-room minibar packaging that would better reflect the brand’s core pillars: luxury, simplicity, and sustainability. The updated system needed to feel elevated and design-forward while aligning with the brand’s environmentally conscious ethos.

I developed multiple packaging directions exploring materiality, typography, and color, balancing refinement with visibility in the intimate hotel room setting. The selected direction paired vibrant yet restrained color blocking with bold, minimal typography, executed using sustainable materials that aligned with the brand’s environmental commitments. Although the initial scope requested design concepts only, I extended the deliverables by creating fully realized mockups to demonstrate how the system would function in context, bringing the proposal to life with photorealistic detail.

The final direction was selected for its clarity, modernity, and alignment with 1 Hotels’ sustainability values. The enhanced mockups elevated the presentation, exceeded client expectations, and provided a clear visualization of the packaging’s impact within the guest experience.
