Backstage Pass
Kroger x Keurig Dr Pepper

  • Kroger and Keurig Dr Pepper sought a creative direction for their 2026 beverage exposition that would feel intriguing, exclusive, and immersive. The event needed to move beyond a traditional conference aesthetic and instead capture the feeling of privileged access: a true look behind the curtain.

  • I developed the concept “Backstage Pass,” positioning attendees as insiders with access to something special. The visual system centered on a sleek, modern pass motif supported by a confident typographic treatment using Times New Roman in varied weights and scales. By pushing contrast, hierarchy, and spacing, the typography became both structural and expressive. A minimal palette drawn from KDP’s four core brand colors ensured alignment while maintaining visual restraint. The open, modular layout system allowed the identity to flex seamlessly across signage, presentation decks, credentials, and environmental applications.

  • The final direction elevated the exposition from a standard shareholder event to a cohesive branded experience. By reframing the conference as an exclusive backstage moment, the creative introduced energy, clarity, and memorability — transforming functional communications into a compelling visual narrative.
